and instead of rescuing her you stopped to get a picture? I'm calling CPS!

Love the pink cowgirl boots.

Luckily my camera happened to be right there on my entry way table...so I checked to make sure she was hanging on tight and then had to get a picture, right? When I go grey at an early age I need to show her proof that she caused it...
Charity, I have no clue how to keep her from doing this now. I have a small panic attack every time I can't find her. I didn't even think about this when we built the stairs this way, can you imagine if she got further? Or if Jack jumps on board this fun new trick? I am totally gonna lose sleep over this...

how fun! ;) i am still amazed at how much ruckus colton can cause in such short amounts of time too, so i totally understand. i can barely load one dish in the dishwasher before he's climbed on our table (which is one of those really tall ones) and is throwing everything on the floor. AWESOME!!

good luck by the way.

Shoot, a climber. I have one of those on my hands. I have daily scares. Where do they get this?

OMG... that is so not cool. Maybe I am ok living in our little shack... we barely have room to move about let alone climb on anything.
That sucks! what are you going to do?

Yikes! How did she react? Was she nervous that she got so high? Or was she proud of herself? Cute pic.

I think Adi and Halle must be learing the same tricks.

It's kinda funny! I would have freaked out too. Brock's a climber too, so maybe I'm use to stunts like that. If she goes much higher, then I'd really freak. Maybe put a trampoline in your entry way?? (that might just encourage it though!) Good luck with that!

Wow, you are a bad parent. Just kidding, that is hilarious, only because it is not my kid.

Kristen, This is so something that Abbie would do! All I can say is I am sorry, it will get worse before it gets better. And by better all I mean is that they get to have better balance so you aren't scared quite as much. Right as I clicked to comment Abbie started screaming "HELP" and I went in and she had climbed into the top of her closet and gotten stuck! She's 5!!!! Sorry we missed you last weekend! November ends up being a birthday extraviganza at our house! We do need to get together soon!
