really...KINDERGARTEN...really?

There's no way he's old enough, brave enough...right? Wrong. He proved me so wrong. He rocked his first day of Kindergarten.

with his obnoxious Avatar backpack (that's what I get for sending him with grandma to pick it out, that lady doesn't know how to say no!)

so lucky to have cousins close by to walk to the bus stop with

this is the moment that I felt like crying...he didn't look back once

but then I saw this smile and it was hard to be sad when he was SO ready for this

I waited after school for the bus and followed it home, to make sure he got off on the right stop (yes I am one of THOSE moms) This was my view as I was following the bus. He sat in the back and blew me kisses. I was happy to see that my BIG KINDERGARTENER wasn't too big to show me some love...

I love that he gave you kisses. Such a cutie. Owen had to have the bumble bee back pack when he was in kindergarten...this year...skulls.

I can't believe you have a five year old, that seems so crazy to me! What a brave little dude though to go with a smile. So cute!

So Cute! That's a hard day yet an exciting one all at the same time. I do have to say though...that's one ugly backpack! LOL
