So I couldn't let the summer pass without a single trip to the zoo. This was a spur of the moment zoo day last week...thanks aunt Katie for tagging along! Here is the conversation I just had with Jack:
Me: What was your favorite thing about the zoo last week?
Him: I don't want to talk about it.
Me: What was your favorite animal?
Him: The pirates.
Hmm...apparently he was at a different zoo than me...
I love this picture. Jack would take Halle's hand and walk her around to the different cages and show her what was inside...too cute...
Katie looks like she thinks she is on a roller coaster...I bet she was disappointed when she realized she was on the dumb hogle zoo train...
Out of everything the kids loved the playground the most...guess I could have saved some money and just taken them to a playground!
Everytime I looked back Halle was sucking on the belt from the wagon we rented...the same belt that probably a hundred kids have sucked on...I was so grossed out...just looking at the picture makes me want to freak out...

My kids haven't been to the zoo since last summer. Its just too stinky for me. I'm such a mean mom. I'll take them in the fall (which I guess is now) when the steaming piles of animal poop are sitting in 100+ degree weather.

I totally deleted the "i" in Halle's name. WTH?

The Zoo is so draining!! but I guess most things that kids love are. Cute pics, glad Katie still gets a kick out of the zoo.
We never made it to Hogle Zoo this year, Feelin guilty.........
